Every figure above includes GST and includes the $110 call-out, which covers the first half hour on site. Outside the hours below the call-out is $190, which makes the after-hours minimums $370 for a blocked drain, $340 for hot water and $310 for taps, toilets and cisterns. Those are the totals, not a surcharge to add on. There is nothing else: no fuel levy, no separate weekend loading.

Two of us, two vans, no subcontractors
Kestrel has been working the northern bay since 2014. There are two of us and we do the work ourselves, so the person who quotes the job is the person who does it.
We are licensed for plumbing, drainage and gas. Notifiable work gets its Form 4 and gas work gets its compliance certificate, and we hand you the copy rather than leaving you to chase it.
If we cannot get to you the same day we will say so on the phone rather than leave you waiting.

These three were written by us. A real client's site carries their own reviews instead, quoted as written, with the star rating and the review count read off the listing.
Rang at seven in the morning about a blocked main and they were here before ten. Explained what caused it, which nobody had bothered to do before.
Replaced our hot water system the same day the old one went. Fair price, no mess left behind.

The call-out is $110 including GST and covers the first half hour on site, and it is already inside every price on this page. After hours the call-out is $190, which puts the minimums at $370, $340 and $310 for the three priced jobs above. Those figures are totals.
How soon can you get here?
Most jobs on the island are same day or next morning. If it is a burst pipe we will come straight away and tell you so on the phone.
Do you work weekends?
Saturday 7am to midday, which is a shorter day than the rest of the week. Sundays are emergencies only, on the same number, at the after-hours rate.
Will you give me a price before you start?
Always. We do not start work on a number you have not agreed to.
Are you licensed?
Yes. QBCC licence 0000000, and we hold a gas work authorisation. Ask to see either and we will show you.
